  • S.T.E.A.M.

    The S.T.E.A.M. program at SSLS is for all students K-8. Through a mixture of classroom-based activities, special courses, and extracurricular opportunities, students will develop and strengthen their understanding of the sciences, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics and will be able to see how those subjects interconnect in the real world.

  • Beta Club

    Beta Club at SSLS is primarily a service organization.  Students are invited to be a part of Beta Club if their year grade average in all classes is a 95 or above. All members must earn 8 hours of community service each school year. Members also enjoy annual field trips for educational purposes and just for fun
  • Reading Program (2nd-5th Grade)

    Reading skills are highly personalized at SSLS through the introduction of our multi-aged Learning Communities. Students in grades two through five are ability grouped based on various assessments and teacher observations. For one hour a day, students have the chance to work in a Learning Community where they will receive reading instruction based on exactly what they need to hone their reading skills.
